“Oh? Do show us,” the Kazekage urged on.
“No,” I flat-out said.
“What?” I seem to have gotten him off-guard with my answer.
“I will not show you. Do you think I take pleasure knowing I’m part demon?” I asked him.
“But surely you’re satisfied that you are so much stronger than any other there is,” he answered back.
“And what life would I have if everyone I cared for hated me, feared me,” I retorted.
“I know how that feels,” Gaara whispered to himself.

I'm Secretly A Ninja_Chp 25Taking small, silent steps I sneaked my way out of the building. Stopping in front of the exit, I flattened myself against the wall. Looking over my shoulder, I saw some stationary guards keeping watch over the entrance. Looking the other way, I saw some people walking by with white lab coats talking amongst themselves.

“Hey, what are we waiting for?” a voice behind me asked.
“Shhh, they’ll find us. I don’t want to go to another one of those boring meetings,” I moved a finger to my mouth.
“But, won’t they get mad at you?”
“I can take care of myself just fine. And besides, Gaara, weren’
I'm Secretly A Ninja_Chp 24It’s been a couple days since I set out from Konoha, and I met many nice people. I was now entering the desert so I got a ride from a merchant that was delivering goods to Suna, my destination. The blazing sun and the freezing moon were some of the elements that kept me on my toes. Every once in a while bandits attacked the good merchant, so I protected him in return for the ride. The days blurred, so when the cart stopped in the middle of the sunny day, I became alarmed and got off to see the cause.

Running towards the merchant my eyes saw a huge wall that seemed to be surrounding something.
“Little miss, we’ve arrived,”
